Tsaghkadzor Ropeway (cable car) is one of the most famous attractions in Armenia, located in the ski resort town of Tsaghkadzor. It runs along the eastern slope of Mount Teghenis and reaches an elevation of about 2819 meters above sea level. The ropeway was originally opened in 1967 and later modernized in 2004 with upgraded European equipment. A full ride from the base to the top takes around 30–32 minutes. During the journey, visitors can enjoy stunning views of forests, mountains, and the Tsaghkadzor valley. On clear days, you can even see Mount Ararat in the distance. The cable car operates year-round, serving both winter skiers and summer tourists. It is one of the main transport systems for accessing ski slopes and hiking areas.
